St Martin Chalets have been built with 100% attention to detail from pure natural materials, predominantly local larch and pine and incorporate all modern conveniences. Each chalet is insulated using Austrian mountain sheeps’ wool and the energy for heating and electric is from a plant oil CHP system. The 10 exclusively built chalets form a small environmentally friendly community and it is already recognised as being the first energy self-sufficient holiday village in Europe.
Each individually designed chalet has a total size including decking and balconies of 125m²and can sleep up to 10 people.
All chalets are fully furnished in traditional Austrian old reclaimed pine and include crockery, cutlery, all soft furnishings and bedding.
Each exquisitely furnished chalet features:
Three double bedrooms
A wood burning fire
A generous living / dining area
Fully fitted antique pine kitchens
Sleek modern Italian sanitary ware
A large sunny terrace and balcony
Individual drying / boot room with boot dryer
Cottage alpine herb garden
The 150m² subterranean central facilities include reception, fitness room and sauna/spa (summer 2009)
In the centre of the development is a beautifully landscaped natural water feature with a plunge pool and waterfall.
Vacations are taylor-made to suit everyones’ whims and desires!
St Martin Chalets activity program is completely free of charge! Our goal is to revive the sense of freedom and create a new awareness for the environment by experiencing the simple way of life.
Our guests arrive to balconies filled with cascading blooms in the summer and in the winter to a crackling log fire and a private supply of chopped logs. Fridges are stocked with fresh farm produce as ordered and a posy of alpine flowers decorates the dining table.........

Check Just a mile or so from Salzburg airport is the A10, which is a dual carriageway so will get you quickly on your way and leads all the way to St Michael. When you leave the airport just follow signs for Villach.
