General information

“Der Hauslwirt” has existed since 1350, owned by the Reiter family since 1938.
A former watering hole for passing carriages, it presents itself today, along with Gästehaus Reiter just 50 m away, with 3-star comforts. The two establishments offer 40 rooms with all the amenities for 85 people.
The cozy rooms are equipped with flat-screen TV, safe, telephone, free WLAN, hairdryer, makeup mirror, and some with balcony or terrace.
Your day begins with a sensational breakfast buffet.
In our dining facilities we treat up to 230 guests with the best of regional and international cuisine. In the cozy lounge, dining hall or in our garden area, we offer a menu changing daily and special monthly features.

Additional information

We would be glad to obtain your tickets for a variety of cultural events in Salzburg City of Mozart (Festival, Advent Singing, theater,...) and there’s no processing fee!
